Hantarex: "an electronic engineering forge"
The department is divided into 5 sectors, coordinated by expert researchers responsible for the principle development areas: HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, STRUCTURE, STYLE and ELECTRONICS.
Thanks to the ever present spirit of innovation in the R&D Department, HANTAREX has been one of the worldwide leaders of the latest plasma and LCD technologies.
The first of many successes was the mass production of the first European plasma monitor in 1996 presented at PHOTOKINA 2006.
The latest generation was successful in the following decade and included an infinite range of new ultra flat products with LCD and plasma technologies developed thanks to Hantarex’s drive to discover the technology of the future.
The innovative spirit in HANTAREX’s R&D Department, founded on roots of creative initiative and the mentality typical of successful Italian entrepreneurship, is expressed in an “agile” and “elastic” organizational model.
The company’s business model, for years focusing on the production of high quality professional monitors, has diversified in the last few years by adding a range of the latest generation of ultra flat televisions that have become players in the worldwide market.
Additional confirmation of our engineering, design and production is our partnership with Microsoft to launch our hardware, which was developed to make the most of Windows Media Center’s capabilities, and Microsoft’s recognition with a Special Mention Award for our LCD 46” WMC Inside TV for future products, best design and best technology at the Green Button Awards in Milan on November 18, 2004 during “Futurshow 3004”..
Hantarex was Microsoft’s first partner to integrate Windows Media Center directly in their television excluding any other high-tech support.
HANTAREX’s LCD 40” WMC Inside TV received “The Best Future Product” and “The Best Synthesis of Different Technologies and Design “ in both the 2004 and 2005 ceremonies.
The two products are on display at Redmond, WA, and are part of Microsoft’s House of the Future. This is an important recognition that strengthens the Italian company’s position in the hi-tech consumer product market.
